We expect to get started in two weeks time
(we're currently knocking out Brembo caliper brackets)
after that, parts would take a month or so to be done

my oil lines were 10an already for my cooler set up so i took the summit book out and got -8 o-ring one side and -10 male on the other side and switched mine over to 10an, i just had to take a grinder and grind the hex portion down so the corners of the hex didnt contact and they could be tightened. its worked fine for me, i would like to buy a second one though for my back/up engine and spare parts car im putting together, and know several people whole saw mine and would buy them cant wait for the next run!!!!!

if you kept the old design i wouldnt need fitting with my next one, i still have my -8 from the last one laying around and i would proablly do the -10 mod again anyways.

yes, it allows you to either relocate your oil filter and/or do an oil cooler

but, whats the purpose of this part? Is it to relocate the filter? Delete the filter and use with a cooler? No oil filter with this?

Yeah, the part the bolts to the block
I was leafing though the FSM and it looks like the bolt pattern is similar to
the one on the KA (and RBs).
So it may very well be possible.

He means the piece where the oil filter bolts on to.

This is what the SOHC one looks like (what I took to his shop to verify the fit on a DOHC).

blocks have been made for some time already
and everybody that wanted one has gotten it
I too thought people would have wanted a -10AN fitted one but the majority of
opinions was to leave the way we originally made them
so we did

maybe next time, if there is a next time

Yeah, I noticed. Hahah.

I just decided to keep and rebuild my KA, so I've been looking into this.

I guess it doesn't matter too much, I have to use an adapter anyway. Too bad I have no money for one right now.
