SR20DET won't rev past 1500

Dropped a wrench on the battery for a quick second and now the car wont rev past 1500. I've read that if you bridge a battery while the car is off all you do is kill the battery.
I have:
z32 maf
550cc injectors
rs enthalpy rom tune

I opened up the ecu and made sure nothing fried in there. Also redid the grounds and tested them, they came out all good. Tried unplugging the maf and running it, same issue.
Thanks in advanced

sounds like the MAF or MAF wires could be bad. Not sure, but when i couldn't get above 2k rpm, i unplugged my maf, cleaned it, and replugged it. worked fine.

Just a tip, Not too sure but it could be in limp mode. Try resetting the ecu.

If not its def. the maf ,Had a similar issue with a maf and wouldn't rev past 2500 and sounded like absolute shit

This sounds really simple but, have you checked the fuses in the engine bay? I know when I grounded something out I popped the main 75A fuseable link thats in there...

Fuses were the first thought in mind. Checked the fuses and relays in the engine bay, and then check all the fuses in the kick panel.

(55)=all clear. You are correct. Hows your engine harness? The reason I ask is because a really messed up harness can give you all sorts of issues, and the ignitor is not the issue.

So not sure if your ROM tune is setup for Z32 maf or not, but if it is not you need a SAFC or something to read that z32 maf.

spend the money and invest in a datalink cable! download ECUTalk or find someone with NISTUNE. both of which will give you a read out of every functional sensor on your car! it majorly helps with tracking down bugs likes youre having!

UPDATE:
Figured out the problem. One of the splicing on the maf wire (not ground) had come undone. And dropping the wrench on the battery had nothing to do with the issue, it was just a huge coincidence haha. Thanks for all the help guys! Oh btw, after redoing the grounds and sanding the contact points, the car runs so much better and doesn't die out any more.
