speed sensor install s13
okay everyone I need help. I pulled out my old speed sensor because it was bad to replace it, now I can't seem to get the new one in to the transmission what do I need to do to get the new speed sensor into the transmission. Its on jacks i took it out of gear to be able to spin the drive shaft and still no luck.. Any tips on getting this thing back in?

It's pretty straight forward, I think!
Just compare the gears, you may have the wrong sensor. Maybe even dip the gear in gear oil first, maybe wiggle a little.

Pretty sure one is an auto and one is a manual unless it is just the angle of the picture making the one on top look bigger(automatic). That and the orange color is also what comes on the automatics so yeah you got the wrong sensor.
Yes this is for a S14 but the speed sensor is the same past the wiring harness part.
