BiG MiKE's Little Build! (2JZ-GTE Powered)
So as some of you know I recently parted out my SR in hopes of going with something more reliable and with much more power potential. So it was time to get rid of this paperweight and make space for something in an inline 6
Then I sold my beloved BBS's And this is how she sat for a bit Til I got these 17x9.5+15 / 18x9.5+15 MB Battles to roll on (not the greatest but they wuz cheap) Stetched some rubber on em... Then it was time to empty the bay and rip the front end off - here is where we stand now \ Pulling as much as I can so we can get a nice coat of paint in the bay. Ill be picking up my 2j/R-154 this weekend and hopefully dropping her in to check fitment and decide if I am going to trim the radiator support for a bit more clearance. This isnt much of a build just yet (more of a demolition) so ill just throw in a few pics of the goodies that started rolling in this week. Treadstone Cast Manifold Precision 6266 .68a/r with 3-5/8" V-Band discharge Xcessive engine & Trans Mounts Tial MV-S, TRD Thermostat, and TRD Oil Filter Complete 2JZGTE gasket set including water pump, idler pulley, tensioner, etc,! So thats pretty much it for now. Ill be taking more pics as things come together... Until the next update

Didnt do much this weekend just picked up motor/trans and sent it to a buddys house for all new front seals/tensioner/timing belt/water pump/etc... Then she came home and I havent really done anything yet. I will be pulling off the stock twins this weekend and ordering some fuel components this week as well.
Pic of the shifter extension done by a local shop that S&O Teck (where I bought my engine/trans) sent it to be done... More pics/updates coming soon Hardparked... ----------------------------------------- So I found some motivation and decided to tackle the twin turbo removal... boy what a pita... After removing those I put on the treadstone manifold and turbo for a little mockup SO much more room with a single! Anyone thinking of doing this swap, do yourself a favor a ditch the twins. I pulled them off with the engine out of the car and it was a nightmare... I couldnt imaging doing this after the engine is in that tiny bay Shout out to this can of AERO KROIL for without you those silly twins would still be stuck to my 2j AERO KROIL > WD-40 Thats all I haz for now

Looking good bud! I'm excited to see how you have everything planned out. That turbo is gonna hit pretty hard, he should see 15-20psi around 3500

Well I havent done much....
Installed Marlin Crawler Shifter bushings which took soooo much play outta the shifter. This is a must have upgrade for anyone who doesnt already have it. Started installing driftmotion pulleys and Im currently working on finishing the stripping and painting of the engine bay Here are some shots of the machining that had to be done on the turbo to fit the treadstone manifold Holes slotted to slide turbo over about 2-3mm Original fitment Had to go with Socket Head Cap Screws due to hex heads not fitting 2-bolt to V-band wastegate adapter installed

Did some work on the engine bay a few weeks ago now mostly prep work for paint and removal of battery tray and other useless brackets
Degreasing and removal of brake booster and other parts Battery tray removed Misc brackets removed Bit of sanding done Ordered some dry pearls (Green/Blue/Purple Chameleon for engine bay) and Green/White glow in the dark to experiment on the wheels Shooting for the one on the right After a few mins of light... More updates this weekend once we lay down some paint
