1.pull codes from the ecu. post codes or look them up yourself
1a.no codes or still same issue
2.open the ecu and see if it contains a daughter board.
2.a re-seat daughter board and or chips.
2b.no daughter board or chips or everything seated
3.verify the harness plug is seated all the way into the ecu
3a.verify the ecu has no smell or burnt traces

the led stays on when koeo, or engine not running is normal
once the engine is running the led should remain off until a malfunction is detected.
The led will probably flash if the engine is cranking but idk because every engine i work on starts when I'm finished. hence refer to number 1.

Ok I checked the plugs and they were in all the way. I checked the spark plugs and all four were burnt. Idk if that sign of something going bad or something. But the car still doesn't start. Idk where to go from here.

Did you see the part about checking the Ecu codes ? Also does the fuel pump prime? does any relays click or is everything dead when you turn ignition over

I ran into this problem when i fried my ecu. A solid red light means its kaput. I had a daughterboard and it wouldnt start with a solid red light. replaced the ecu with the same daughterboard and it fired right up. For a ecu with a daughterboard a solid red light means the ecu isnt readign external roms
