Wow it's still so cheap in the US for gas.

We are paying about this in BC Canada
123.9/ litre so $4.96/ gallon for regular
131.9/ litre so $5.28/ gallon for 91 octane

Its still too cheap. Why do i say this? Because there is still a bunch of mindless idiots on the road that are driving around with no real purpose, just aimlessly driving the streets adding to the traffic congestion just to go to walmart or some stupid shit, and there's still people driving around in huge ass SUVs and boat cars.

are you telling me that its wrong to like to drive your car? i sometimes hop in my car just to take a ride because i'm bored, but i agree with you on the SUV nonsense, i see people in hummers on the freeway with only one person in them, WHY do you need an H2 that gets 3MPG to get to work and back?

Bah, remember I am very republican.

The "price" of oil is due to us dollar inflation vs the rest of the worlds currency. But the price of oil is still not all that relevant to the price of gas, the refining companies are charging a premium to refine because of high demand for refining and not enough capacity.

And on the "god damn republicans" front. The ONLY reason I voted for bush the second time was over soundbite of rumsfeld, cheney and bush saying they would subsidize iraqi oil to the US market, which didn't happen.

More on topic, if you are going to go bio-diesel, don't think you will be getting waste oil from any burger joints, they get paid for it because it is refined as well. But buying new at costco + additives is still cheaper than gas.
