40th Annual Duel at Deanza Auto x!

When-Sunday May 17th 2009

Where-Deanza College Cupertino CA
Parking lot B

First car to run is at 9am.

Looks like registration is by mail invite only, but it is FREE to watch!

Expecting over 250+ drivers

I never understood how to register but the people who give info are Dennis and Peggy Hale 831-336-2444

Hope to see slot more 240s this year, last year was a good turnout too!

I'll probably be out working on the track (big brown dood in a sombrero) so go ahead and say wsup if you drop by.

How come they don't ever host drift events there?

I asked around the same question and I guess the faculty can't support it. Most drivers can take an autox class at deanza a couple weeks prior to the event but they wouldn't be able to teach a drifting 101 class haha!

oh snaps! so DeAnza college teaches a class on how to autox!? thats awesome..is there anyway I could maybe volunteer? I want to be there either way though cus I wanna get in toroad racing/drfiting but I didnt know of any places close to the bay area

Yes they HAD the class. Ya the school offers a class a few weeks prior to the event. I also think it's for ppl interested or signed up to run for the event. So the next class will be next year around this time sorry about that. But you should still out may 17th and check it out!
