I'm still under the impression that most people are just brought up with the ability to easily talk to anyone with ease. For others it's a big obstacle and there is no real "advice" you can give except to look good, and get over your fucking self and do something about it.

basically my last date was a train wreck :lol:

I went on a double date with my friend and his girl, they were fighting the whole night. Basically, it was awkward and my date was uncomfortable.

we come back from the movies, they decide to take off, I ask if she wants to come inside and watch a movie. She agrees, and and we start watching transformers, which happened to be here favorite movie. I was doing well, considering things went very bad before.. or so I thought

my buddy and his gf walk in my house, they sit in the kitchen, watching the movie with us.. she's uncomfortable once again, keeps looking back at them, I look back at my friend like 'wtf, are you doing!' his dumbass of course, doesn't notice shit

movie ends, it's like 3AM..

shes tired and kinda complaining about having to drive home so late.. I throw out you can stay here if you want, she agrees

my buddy and his girl cuddle on the couch my date lays down on my bed, as I get blankets and pillows for my friend and his gf.

I ask if she want to sleep in my bed, and I'll sleep in my sisters bed

she says 'I don't know'

I'm thinking to myself 'I don't know? wtf, is that supposed to mean or does she want me to sleep with her in my bed?'

I feel it's too early and I don't want her to think I'm trying to get with her so I say 'You sleep here and I'll sleep in my sisters room than'.

go into my sisters room, to sleep 5min later I hear someone walking down the stairs.. I'm thinking it's my buddy and his girl. I walk downstairs and it's her getting her purse to leave.. I'm like 'what no goodbye?' she says it's late and she has to wake up early, tell her I have an alarm clock, she starts making excuses about my parents seeing her or something... I'm starting to get mad... 'my parents don't care, and if it makes you feel any better lock the door'.

she decides to stay, I get her settled again, and go to sleep in my sisters room

wake up, everyone's gone

I wait about a week, ask my buddies girl if she has her number, she asks her friend if it's okay, I get her number.

I wait till next week, call her up ask if she wants to do something again just her and I maybe go see a movie and eat some dinner.

she seems excited about it, I'm feeling confident things are going well

I'm getting aim messages from my buddies girl non-stop on how things went, I'm like I like her, but I don't know her that well yet.

I call her up on the day of the date and ask what time she wants to go and where she lives...

she's acting weird, like she doens't want to go anymore and starts bringing out the excuses something about my buddies girl being too involved... I said something on the lines of 'I'm going to go practice at the golf course, call me back when you decide what you want to do.'

no callback...

gets near dinner time, I call her, no answer leave a message

wait a few days to pass to hear something from my buddies girl or her, herself.

nothing, I call her up leave a message, basically telling her I liked her but after attempting to have a good time with her, I was done with the games, and if she wanted to stop playing them, I'd be down to take her out next week'

she didn't want to stop playing games.. I guess :P that or she went back with her ex-boyfriend.. who I don't think she was over considering she was talking about him.

what I learned: don't go on double dates for first dates, it's bad news trust

I got a question for ya'll in a different environment.
So at my college i chill with a certain group of people. Well, in this building are many fine woman and i swear i see them looking at me but i lack the balls to keep looking or smile. I mean, i know im not ugly and all since my ex was a super fine hybrid flip/danish that i pulled in high school, im not confident either

Now the game is different in college.
Sometimes a fine girl would sit with us but doing her own thing like listenin to music/study or on the laptop. Its kinda hard to spit cuz of the people i mob with. They're homies and all but its kinda awkward for me, or everyone around ya know?
Occasionally the girls would glance at me and what not.
Also sometimes i just want to sit with a cutie, and try to spit. but im obligated to sit with these guys

How can i change the atmosphere and or start up a casual convo?
Another question is when girls are looking and i catch them, it could be a number of things. I will have to smile and get some responses, but are there chances they could be intimidated by me as i am with them?

It is a rough first step when your buds are around but you will get mad props from them for making a move on a chick right in front of them. If they are anything like my crew, they will just be quiet and watch (discretely, god willing). I am not any good at spitting game really, but I have picked up a few girls and actually knowing my close friends are around cheering me on (again discretely I hope) feels good. I can relax and just have a good time and hopefully the chick is too...
