s13 5 lug hub bearings
Hey guys I have been searching for this for a while and I cant seem to find an answer and the ones I have found confuse me. So I have a 90 s13 just went 5 lug with s14 hubs but the bearings are a bit loose and Id like to change them. What bearings should I get and how can I get them in there. I read something that said I was fucked if I didn't have the s14 control arms and that I would just have to buy new hubs? But that doesn't seem right.
Sorry If I did miss this. Thanks for the help!

The rears are knuckles, the the spindles are in the front. You need s14 spindles since they have the correct diameter for the s14 hubs. Also if you use the s14 spindle you have to use an s14 flca because the balljoint taper is different.
So whoever sold it to you either withheld info, lied to you, or assumed you just needed the hubs. |

rear s14 hubs you can just slap on
front s14 hubs you need all the spindle/FLCA etc to fit properly... that's why lots of manufacture makes s13 conversion hubs for the front only...

Contano, they are in the forsale section and are fairly cheap and quality. $125 for the front pair. Maybe more now.
I used them in the front and have put about 7k miles on them, they work great. Most of the mileage was from FL to CA and there wasn't a single issue. |
