Cusco RS help.
So I had a bittersweet surprise today. Long story short I just bought a brand new cusco rs to swap out with my cusco type MZ that I bought second hand already in a pumpkin a couple years back. It turns out the diff I was told was an MZ sure seems like an RS after taking it out. The only difference seems to be the casing colors. If the diff has springs it's an RS right? Also, am I wrong in thinking that this diff is currently set up as a 1 way? I was told it was set up as a 1.5way but it looks like it's set up as a one way too. So is this set up as a one way and is this an RS?

it def appears to be set up as a 1way. its def an RS since it has springs
fortunately for you, you can switch it to 1.5 or 2way if you like |

That looks like it's set to 1.5-way to me. The decel side has some angle, it's not 90°.
But a given Cusco RS diff only has 2 of the 3 ramp profiles. Not all 3. So this one, you could switch from he current 1.5-way setting to 2-way. You can clearly see the 2-way profile in OP's pics. |
