The KA24DE has two brackets that go from each side of the block to the bottom of the bell housing.

On previous cars I always deleted brackets like these, but wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing before leaving them off.

I just replaced my oil pan gasket and haven't put them back on yet. Anyone else left them off of their cars?

To anyone that searches this up 100 years from now. I just left them off. Drove the same as before.
