necropost

but anyway, I've always wondered about the Scorch Racing S15

Quote:
At the heart of the S15 is a very special SR. Response has been a goal throughout the development of the engine and Suzuki is very happy with what he has so far achieved. On the bottom end a Tomei 2.2L stroker kit helps boost capacity and sustain the 2.3 bar of boost that are pumped through the Hypertune intake plenum by the Blitz/KKK K27 turbocharger.
definitely a high-horsepower SR, but the 700hp peak horsepower claim seems inflated, a K27 compressor shouldn't be able to push that. still, the car is probably one of the quickest s-chassis ever built.

I have a powerfc in my car, and it was hard to tune to 700. had to sacrifice low end drivability to put up dyno queen numbers. I reccomend Injector dynamics injectors, they help the tune. PRoblem with PFC is the values for adjsuting the tune. minimum is .50 and max is 1.50 so you have to sacrifice power up high, or drivability down low. You can't make the stretch for agood tune on both ends was what I found

Thanks for the info man. It's always good to see people making ridiculous power with the sr. Post some info when your new setup starts coming along.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but I have to say there is a lot of many respectable SR20's out there!

Quite awesome to see the Mazworx making that enormous power out of the engine. But then again with a turbo that big which engone would'n? hehe JK

Trying to make a sr make 350x3 rwhp myself. sr20DE o.O
