Piston choice?
Hey guys, Im looking at pistons right now and cant decide what to buy. Ive been searching and cant really find a good answer.
Im boosting my ka24de and I am trying to figure out what comression pistons I need. Also, should I go with the least possible oversized pistons? That way I can bore out the cylinders a little more if I needed to in the future? Thanks

What's the difference between 8.8 and 9, what's the difference between going higher or lower?

All other variables the same, the 9 will produce more power than 8.8. However the lower compression 8.8 can run more boost safer. Since I intend on running a lot of boost, I went with the lower compression pistons. People run 9:1 all day long under boost, but I decided to be that much safer. There's a lot more to it, but this is my very basic understanding of it.

Good enough for me. Safety is my biggest concern. Thank you.
