You sold a 2002 WRX so that you could buy a S13 and make it different?
Worst financial investment ever. My actual contribution to the thread: Make it run on an alternative fuel like CORN and drive it across the country. |

the s2k drivetrain has been done, and it was posted here. also, sell the car. The 240sx scene needs a lot less whiny, unoriginal people like you out to build a rolling show car.

man, this is a funny thread, i like trsilvia's ideas, open floor ala flinstone and nuclear powered flux capacitor
don't hate on the domestic engine either, why is it lame? i'd rather rock ls1 or 2 rather than the sr but to continue this thread, has an AWD transplant been made to the s-chassis, probably been done but i don't think i've come across one... or what about relocating the engine to the rear especially for the hatch, that'll be different, logistically, it'll be a nightmare, but it'll be different |

and BTW Floodshark, I did not sell my WRX. I am tired of driving it and dont want it. I picked up the 240 for $500. its also a POS like most 240s and well most cars. I have a Mercedes SL65 AMG V12 bi-turbo engine and tranny sitting at work for sale. I would love to put that in there, but dont feel like buying an engine that does not run for $15k. |

VTEC! Some kid in the McDonald's drive thru one night said I had a nice car. Then he asked what I was going to do to it...said I wasnt too sure, but I want to do an engine swap sometime. Then he says "You should put a VTEC in it!". I said "Uhhhh, no...". So he says "What? Dont want to put a $10,000 engine in your car?" I looked him in the eye, then pulled forward to the next window. And he WAS serious. He was your typical uneducated, 16 year old "car guy".
So I suggest buying a $10,000 VTEC and doing that because that is original! |
