WHAT??? half of the top ten rally teams are 2wd... EVEN FWD AT THAT! this thread isn't about building a rally car. it is about building a 240sx rally car.

and whos gonna own the car and keep it? head the project? its going to be a big headache because X person is going to say they donated x amount so they should drive or own the car or have rights to certain things and so on...not trying to hurt this idea but for this to happen there is a low chance it will all work out correctly.
you just need one person to head the team and "hire" a select few people, then take donations from other people that have to understand that they are donating and directly related with the project.

Well I have a decent amount of space to store, work, etc... on the car. However, I am kind of off the beaten path even though I am in So-Cal. So if anyone else has the space and is a little more central to more prominent members and the team that's cool too. There is no room for greed and being a dumb asshole in this project. It's a community building experience not a gay who's who affair. That has been my main concern this whole time. That's why donators are pretty much sponsors and are more than welcome to come work on the car and such.
If Zilvia really wants to do this I will get a "team" together and open a paypal account and ask for like $1-3 donations to get all the ancilliary stuff. Everyone who donates anything would have a space on the car. The people who donate large things obviously get more space. Basically it would be a big community wall, that drives haha. That's just how I see it at this point. If it doesn't work out, oh well. Or if someone has a better idea I am all ears.

Rally S13 = fun as fuck.
When I lived in AZ last year, I treated my S13 like a Pre-Runner on a daily basis. The back road from my house to my roommates shop was dirt, so I plowed through that road every day. RAD. |

No worries. By the time I would set up a paypal everything would have to be in motion and set in stone.
Would not want everyones money, parts, and time to go to waste and all that jazz.

we will need a under car skid plate and a nicely made one too. i have found one online for like 200 bucks tops. goes underneath the whole car. I can do rally car work, can i be of any help?
I will donate and personally help work on the project, it'll be nice for me to work on this kind of project again. So ESmorz add me to your team, you can count on me ill be there working my ass off if I need to and im reliable. i dont even care if i get anything back out of this, just maybe a run on the track in it. |
