Blowing the 75Amp Main Fuse because of Engine Cont fuse?
I've been referring to the FSM so far and nothing has solved my issue. (89 240 with a KA/DE)
Basically, my 75 amp fuse is blown due to a possible grounded power somewhere, and there is continuity between power and ground even when the lower harness (alternator/starter harness) is completely disconnected.
However, when I unplug the 30 amp "Engine Cont" fuse, there is no longer continuity in the 75 amp (and the car won't start due to no spark when the Engine Cont fuse is unplugged).
My issue is I cannot find what all the "Engine Cont" 30 amp (not the 10 amp) fuse is connected to, and possible areas to look for a grounded out power. Any help is appreciated.
I've been told that the "Engine Cont" fuse powers the distributor and the ignition coil, however I can't find any frayed wires leading to either, nor can I find a diagram that tells me exactly what is wired to that fuse anyways.
