Well, you can't touch the people with the 17's or smaller since your damned heavy ass 18's are weighing you down!

iirc.....taking 1lb of unsprung rotational mass (wheels/rotars) off of the car is effectively like removing 6lbs from the body. this means that my 15lb (estimate) kosei's are effectively 90lbs lighter than your 30lb (another estimate) 18's. i hope you like the sweet smell of high octane fuel, because that's all you'll be smelling when i blow past you.

Well for acceleration 1lb of rotational mass is the same as less than 2 lb of body mass, depending on how close to the edge of the wheel it is. |

I think you misrepresented the information. Maybe they were talking about flywheel mass or mass in terms of handling. A point on the outside of your tire has the same rotational speed as the car's linear speed. So it's weight counts double, once because it's part of the car, and has inertia like the rest of the car, and once more because of it's rotational inertia. Of course rims aren't on the edge of the tire so, they are less than 2lb for every 1 lb. |

15 Baby. It's not the size that counts, it's how you use it

I have 17's , 15's are just too small for me... it leaves too much tire, I like the low profile look, besides my stock rims sucked!!!...Just my opinion
