Buddy club seat rail owners
I've been looking at picking up a pair of buddy club super low side mount seat rails for my s13 and was looking for opinions on them. I originally heard they were really good but I've been hearing they sit super high in s13's and I can't find many pics for comparison. Every pic I've seen of them in another car they sit super low but oh the s13's I've seen it's hard to tell. I know if I want something super low there's the bride or nagisa ones but I'm just looking for views on people who have used/own the buddy club ones.

I had them on a bucket in my s14 and IMO they didn't sit low. It deff. felt like the stock seat was lower. I ended up removing the bucket and rails and selling them both.
I would get custom seat mounts made or try Nagisa rails. |

Yeah I keep hearing that so maybe I'll abandon the idea. My current bucket I had to remove because it's bottom mount and my head almost touches the roof and I'm only 5'8".
Reading up on the circuit sports ones now, supposedly they are exactly like the nagisa and sit really low and are almost $70 cheaper. I've had a really positive experience with circuit sports so I'm debating it. |

I have the Buddy club rails on my ViosIII's and they sit pretty low. No exact measurements, but I would say they sit a tad lower than stock. I have an S14 though.

DO NOT get buddy club's.
they suck, because once you mount the seat, it's very difficult to move the seat forwards and backwards. the seat blocks the adjustment bar, from fully disengaging the lock, which in turn doesn't allow you to move the seat. Get the circuit sports. they lock on the side, so it's a much better way to be able to adjust the seat location on the rails. |

i have a Nagisa rail mounted to a Bride low max in my s13. even with my helmet and a cage i feel i have plenty of room. i'm 5'9''.... as for it sitting lower i would say yes but it also has less padding in the seat than OE seats.

Awesome thanks for the opinions guys, definitely going to avoid the buddy clubs from now on. Thanks jamg I see what you mean now about the locking part, now I've just gotta decide between the circuit sports and nagisa. Might give the circuit sports a try.

circuit sports is fairly cheap at FRSports around $150ish. nagisa is $300+ i think. |

exactly as slydin240sx said, i have an s14 as well and with my buddy club rails + slider i know i had more clearance with a stock seat + rails. i'm 6' 0". if i'm wearing a helmet i have to bend my neck to the side a little bit in order to fit. too sketchy. i haven't tried any other seat rails yet, but bolting to the floor obviously solves the height problem.

I have one with a vios III and I don't recommend it. I'm 5'9 and I don't have much head room with a helmet on. I will say that the seat locking mechanisms in the buddy club are very good. My seat didn't budge after getting rear ended by a guy going 50+ mph even though the oem passenger seat rail did.

I have a S13 with buddy club rails with Corbeau FX1 pro seats, driver and passenger and a sunroof.
I had to use the L brackets that come with the rail to get the seats as low as possible. I honestly wish they would sit lower, my s14 seats were definitely lower. With that said, I'm 5'8", with a helmet on my head almost touches the sunroof, if I didn't have a sunroof I would gain 2 inches of head room. As for the rail adjustment. You need to place a washer or two under which ever corner on your floor mount is causing the rail to twist. Both of my seats slide freely after 5 minutes of figuring out what corner rocks. As for not being able to reach the slider lever, can't say I have an issue there. Plenty of clearance to move the lever. |

Nagisa or Bride FG. Don't fuck around with Buddy Club rails, waste of time and money.

I had Buddyclub's for my caged s13. I had little to no clearance with my helmet on. It would literally bang the cage every turn lol. They don't sit very low for some reason. I would stay away from it.

I have a Bride low max seat rail for the driver and buddyclub for the passenger. The buddyclub one sucks. It holds the seat but was crooked and sits super high. Not worth buying in my opinion.
