just run a dedicated vac line to the Waste gate and you'll be fine

Boost solenoid will give you 11.5psi if hooked up properly, otherwise you will get the standard 7psi.

This.

Thats using the factory unit I presume your talking about? The only way though it will work is if the engine see no faults, if you run the diagnostics on your ecu and it pulls up ANYTHING it will not let it run the higher boost. If its all clear you will run the 11-12psi. Theres a guy on here selling one for like 20$ with the mounting bracket. Snatch that up.

Off to a great start!
He means bypass the solenoid, run a direct line to the wastegate!
If you want to increase boost, follow the instructions that come with said boost controller.

So do you need the solenoid if you have a boost controller or does the controller take the place of this solenoid? Also I thought running the solenoid would give you stock boost and running without it will increase this.

Edit: Can I run the wastegate vac line directly to one of the TB vac ports or does it really have to be on a nipple on the coldpipe(i don't see the difference between either cause they're right next to each other lol)?

You do not need the oem boost solenoid. You can run any boost controller you want, boost will not be controlled by the ecu.

Doesn't matter then does it?
