This post was made in order of importance. This on what you do the most. Example If you drag raced one once in you're life it doesn't count. You have to do it at least a couple of times (3 or more times) to consider you're self a drag racer. Be honest. This current state not what you plan to do in the future. Example If you drive a bone stock 240sx now you would answer 9. If plan to do some time trial in you're future you will still answer 9. I will make another poll in a couple of months to see what happens.
Disclaimer..... If you feel that should see something on top of another choice.. Tough luck. If you want to make you're on list Kudos to you.

If you owned/had the mods it now then you will be Level 08.
Why the heck have highly modified 240sx not participate in motor sports? That a waste of car if you aske me. So that will be make a so so enthusiast. Once you participate in motor sports will ask you're self why you didn't do it sooner.

I gotta agree w/ Lauren about this whole "modified" thing. I barely made #2 (he he) b/c I have brakes and an STB (and my special ghetto mod seat! ) ! Okay, next week I'll have some more stuff... so I'll fit in.
I think the problem here is this needs a titled like "driving enthusiast" b/c it leaves out all the "car enthusiasts" who are still enthusiasts... just of a different sort. |

How about 11. Lazy ass - bought a 240SX, took two months to get it registered, drives it to work once a week or so, wants to drive the wheels off it on the track but keeps putting it off?
I guess I fit into #3, if better-than-stock tires and a stolen stereo count as "mods". I'll modify it eventually. Eh, someday. |

Yeah I guess 96SEChick miss the point. I don't really belive there is such a thing as bone stock 240sx. I'm sure she has something that makes her car hers. .
Almost everyone on this board seem to be missing the point with our 240sx. It's a driver's car. They are other types of enthusiast out there. I just don't think it really belongs with the 240sx aka "rally racing". The guy/girl enthusiast that knows allot about cars but doesn't really know how to "drive/work one them." It's really not a car enthusiast right? Ps. People can have someone work on there cars. You can't have someone win you're races. AKA driver that will make you 3#.

I like that I voted for 7 240sx street racer Drive/street race a slightly/heavily modified 240sx Since I drive a lightly modded 240 around the streets. Should be #2 or #3 in the fall...hopefully sooner but prolly not.

bbp, were you from man? Nice to see a s14 completely done up to race. How long you been doing this?
DSC, yeah unless you're race team owner. You don't want to have someone win you're battles. I know there 1000+ members here. Were they all go?

Stop being silly. Take you're car and put on the track already! Isn't that the reason we you drop some serious $$$ on you're car right? Hippo sleek will tell you the best way to learn from your car is to race it stock. Unless you have blown shocks get out there and race. That way you can feel the difference between old and new suspension mods. Don't hold back you know you want to participate in motor sports. No I don't work for scca or nasa or whatever. Just want to see ppl really "drive" there cars.

What drifting said. Keep in mind that that WAS how the car came stock - even w/ the SR. A stock suspension is plenty capable for a beginning driver. Actually, it is better b/c it will keep you from getting into too much trouble. |
