B&M short throw shifter spinning

now i realize sine it is 2 pieces it is going to spin, but its really starting to annoy me. is there anything i can do to make it stop spinning? is there a short shifter as good or better that isjust one piece? thanks for any info-devon

the threaded piece of the shifter, like after you turn the shift knob to make it tight you can keep turning the knob and the prt of the shifter will just spin
