if the master is actually moving the slave and the clutch is actually being disengaged, it is your linkage

would it go into gear BEFORE you replaced the master and slave?
to me it sounds like its not bled out fully and isn't disengaging when you press the pedal down.

probably need a new clutch.

two of my friends had the same exact problem. they pulled out their clutch and the spring on the clutch came out.

try and bleed it again, if all else fails, check your clutch.

same thing happened to me last year. pulled the clutch out. seems that one of the springs popped out and was wedged between the clutch and pressure plate.

Where did you get your master from. I have read on more than one occasion that autozone, advanced master cylinders have been faulty out of the box and it has taken 3-4 exchanges before a good one is had. Normally has to deal with improper or cracked seals.

240s can have the same issue, mine lost the master 3yrs ago, replaced both, ditched the damper as well.

Was anything else wring with the trans? Weak clutch, chattering throwout bearing? Did you adjust the clutch pedal or linkage at all?
