Appreciate it. Love all that stuff.. the doors open like a new car now. Nice! I'd love to see some progress on that thing man, I know you've said you haven't been able to get around to much, though.

Dang man, I tip my hat for sure. It's funny to me that people are comparing this build to my car, lol. I might shell out on some cool parts or whatever, but my car is a MESS compared to this thing when it comes to attention to detail. I don't have nearly the cash/time/patience that you do into my car- dents, dings, scratches, busted clips and destroyed moldings everywhere lol.
Awesome job! |

I'll more than likely get around to it come Feb 2012. Should give me enough time to finish things up around here. Any reason why you didn't relocate the engine bay harness? Just curious. That's something that always ends up bothering me with most builds. Hah |

Definitely the cleanest 240 I've ever seen, some people aren't a fan of it but I really love the fact you kept it moderately stock with OEM parts and really made them shine.

Imagine a Damon/Brett hybrid car. Blow. minds. Quote:
Ah, well at the time the goal was to get the car running in reasonable time.. and unfortunately that is something I sort of made a short cut on and just left it in the stock location . I will have that on my to do list for later on, along with other things. Buy me some bread, Bread. Quote:
Haha, thats for sure dude! Come by the shop sometime and I'll drive it over so you can have a look at it.

More posting time.
New center vents. Feels crazy, they don't flop around at all. Mirror switch Refinished center console Cluster, Bezel, steering column cover and steering wheel installed. The seal that goes under the hood to seal off the Ac vents from fumes and such. Window switches and bezel. Rear speaker covers installed Picked up a new RPS13 center panel cover. Clay came over to do some final buffing on the car, so I had a chance to get it in the sun and take some shots. Dad, just chillin. Then I was finally able to go pick up the front lip from the paint, which Is one of my favorite pieces. installed some clips and rubber bushing for the hood prop Fender liners, which I could barely make myself cut up. I really didn't want to. But I did, and started working meticulously on so they would clear the tires. The undercoat was rubbed off by the giant front wheels that it rolled on previously. Then came the time to do the last remaining things for the interior. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out my seatbelt situation, and finally came up with a solution. I'm very pleased how they turned out. There it is, complete. Alarm was installed just before this photo. Still more work to do to the interior when I can, though. Couple shots of the underside of the chassis Then I got it all cleaned up and ready to roll out for SC3.

I think my favorite thing about this build is the restoration. It must be nice, and very well worth it to have all brand new parts from Nissan!

Clean build....Professional works done.....Good job man.....
By the way, I saw one of your pictures of the interior....especially in the spare tire well.....Did you sparyed some undercoat on that too?.....Or, you just leave it on the stock paint?..... I would also recommend Project Mu BBK.....you color do really match those Project Mu calipers...... |

First class build, congrats.
I noticed you've even got the black plastic trim on the ends of the rear pods, I haven't seen that too often, these are usually long gone. The valance also has this trim where it meets the rear bumper, can't quite see this in the pics but you've probably got it sorted.

Man the more you keep updating this thing the more I'm loving your attention to detail...many of the same ideas I have about replacing little seals, and trim pieces that most guys with our cars don't even care about How long did it take you from start to finish on this so far? Job well done sir! Thanks for the shout-out on the mirrors btw!

Here I am thinking I didn't get into detail enough.. Quote:
Yeah, a couple people were suggesting those. It's a possibility. Quote:

Thanks Matt. That's the stuff that counts to me, the things most people don't even pay attention to. I guess that's partially why it turned out the way it did. The build only took about a year.. and about 4 months of that time the car was just sitting around collecting dust.
