we dont run cages at 626. no reason. just dont try and drift the water tower, (they frown on it anyways now days).
If you have a convertable, then probably a cage. |

Oh good. If you're going to be at Pipeline this week then I can probably just pay you off for the rest of my entry and Travis can pay you for the rest of his. Whats the update on the grip spots? I'm trying to find a few more bodies and cars to fill those spots.
How many out of how many total are filled currently? |

So is this gonna be a drift/grip event like the 626DRIFT guys run???
If its grip, you sure as shit better not put bikes on the track at the same time as cars!! your drivers dont seem worried about thier ability on the track. 626 did thier first event there as a drift. ya just attack the corners as a, single, 180 degree drift. Then as you get it down, you try and connect em. HTm is REALLY easy. And what are all these "cliffs" you keep talking about flying off of?? |

^ the first one??? The second uphill sweeper is where to start, the first 2 single corners are a waste of tires and gas. IMO
they are good your first couple runs to get the feel, but save that rubber for the 2nd corner on the top. Here is a little video of my SOHC. And I drifted the bottom corner just cause I was filming. Top corner is a 3rd gear entry with ebrak, to 2nd gear downshift, clutch lock, the feather it around. Flick the car back and floor 2nd, when its about to catch again, ebrake and hold it, and hold it, and hold it, and floor it! the spin out is right after a 3rd gear upshift with to much angle. |

yeaaahhh heres me at HTM...
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTtoXMn7EZE[/ame] just drift that section and pace the rest of the course. non-caged cars will be fine...watertower has always been PROHIBITED aka instant blackflag kickout with no cage, and WITH cage if you have passengers. i wanna drift!!
