funny though, as nice as my s13 is (and i really enjoy my car, even if it hasnt moved in 3-4 years now) - i want to clarify and say that i like my car and not the each and every other 240 out there. why? because most of the 240's i see are absolute garbage that i dont want to dirty myself sitting in.

how the fuck can i appreciate a car with a primer/roller paint job that doesnt even run right? fuck that, send it to the crusher with the rest of those relic Z cars.

its bad enough i have a `73 S30 240Z sitting in my garage.. at least that relic is one that i LOVE.

then there are cars i think look ugly:
- S130 280ZX... go look at the black gold edition and tell me its nice. better yet, sit inside a 280ZX and tell me how luxurious and DATED it feels. cross your fingers, if you're lucky you'll sit in one with a digital dash.

- Z31 300ZX.. another relic with a horrible interior that dates back to the dino years. that, plus the ugly fucking T-TOPS.

you do realize i can nitpick that car to death?

lets start with the rattle can primer paint job, which we all know keeps panties LOCKED ON as opposed to a nice shiney 350Z or Porsche, which instantly causes panties to drop and legs to lift vertically. well, at least you took the time to paint the engine bay while swapping in the RB.. right? wrong. i see the original red paint.

the S30 in my garage is at least 1 color, silver. the paint isnt in great condition but its still shiny and looks acceptable when washed.

the car must brake like a dream though, i can tell by the rusty brake master cylinder cover. i still see original wiring, which let me tell you.. after 30+ years is not as high-quality as what it once was. nice to see you addressed that, because afterall.. theres nothing worse than seeing a beautifully restored 240Z with an RB25 burn to the ground due to electrical failure.

ps: get rid of the lead acid battery, install an optima and ditch that damn intake manifold already.

want more? i didnt get to the interior yet. hehe

im not saying all this to diss you, just to remind you and everyone else that all these older cars need much more than an RB swap or SR swap or any of that. if you want people to appreciate your cars, then put some fuckin hard work, time and money on building them right. you could've at least acid washed the motor before putting it in, its all pitted and ragged looking. did you even change any gaskets???

"no pain no game people!" i gotta keep the standards high and people motivated to do things like:

- take the time to do things right

I bet between all those cars out there you can assemble one maybe two good ones. The parts out there are probably worth something though. 240z stuff is pricey, 260, 280z, and 280zx are junk though (not always, but usually).

Someone who collected all those Z's probably knows they ain't worth anything now. That's probably the reason for the picture taken far enough back that you can see the cars but can't actually SEE the cars.

Im all for keeping good Z's alive. I wish I didn't sell my old car....
