Does anyone know if the VH45 mount kit and transmission adapter plate that Mazworx and Xcessive make are usable on a VH41? Or are the mounts on the engine blocks different? Thanks.

Ours is different for sure will not work on the VH41

Hit up the guys at SWAP1UZ.COM, they just released a VH45 and a VH41 adapter plate. Both use a KA, Z32, Z33 or Z34 transmissions!

I just talked the tech guy at mazworx today and he said its compatible. which would make sense cause the blocks are the same.

They are NOT the same, several of the bolts are in the same locations but they are not the same pattern. Also, if you buy an adapter for the vh45, the guide pins will not be in the correct location.

And the mounts ARE NOT the same either, I currently have a vh45 and a vh41 in my garage as I am building a 5 speed Y33 and a 6 speed G50 Q45. These engines do NOT share the same block/mount locations.

Please do not spread misinformation.

Here are the plates, as you can tell they are far different from each other.

Here is a set of pictures I just took, of the factory VH45 and VH41 engine mounts.

as you can tell, they mount in very different locations.

And here you can see that not one of the bolt holes is anywhere near where the VH45 is.
