I found a guy who makes custom piping with K&N Cone Filters they seem to be of great quality for the price. On eBay he sells them for $84 and $9.99 shipping for 48 states and $17.99 for Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska. Shipping rates via United Parcel Service with tracking and insurance.
He told me if we get 10 people he will take $7 off so you almost get your shipping free. He makes 4 240sx kits so specify which one u need 89-94 12V, 91-94 16V, 95-96, and 97-98 Pipe Material: Polished Stainless Steel Filter Material: K&N Cone Filter, Million Mile Guarantee, Cleanable, Reusable. Also: premium silicone hoses and connectors, stainless steel clamps and completely bolt on 1990 Nissan 240SX 12 V with 97,552 Miles Performance K&N Intake Kit 5.8 HP Increase at the Wheels 5.1 TQ Increase at the Wheels This is the Dyno run for the 12 Valve Engine, on the 16 Valve. You will get both more Bottom End TQ, and Higher RPM HP too. He will accept money orders, and checks, but does prefer paypal Btw he says for $7 he will change the hosing to ether red or blue it comes yellow normally (there goes your discount hehe) |

I am in no way affiliated with him but he seems very professional. He says he runs dynos on all of his products he makes and sells.
eBay rating Yea he’s got a few neg. But look at how many he has traded and if u look at the neg. most are not really serous problems anyways. |

Alright, lets see how it goes with hotdogg, I'm down for one if every thing goes well. Can you have him measure the length of the filter? (I'm not sure if mine clears or not).
Otherwise, I'm getting the AEM  |

If everything does go well, count me in as a '90 SOHC 12V with the filter, with blue piping. Btw, this is completely bolt on? Thanks!

Yes everything is bolt on
I hope everything goes good too because I’m trusting his word just like u guys At this pace we should have 10 people in less than 2 weeks so I’m really happy Grant what do u mean? The height of the fattest round piece (bottom) when lying on its side? Or the length of it from top to bottom? |

#### yea its just like any other bolt on intake should be done in under 30 min max I would say that most of us here know our way around our cars about and could do it in under 20 min most of that time would be taking out the stock intake
Everyone please include the following info: Year & Make (12v or 16v), w/ Filter or W/O, (Optional) hosing color, and if you are in Canada, Hawaii or Alaska Also must include valid email !!! (Edited by Omega at 9:45 pm on Feb. 19, 2002) |

I am in.
97. [email protected] He charges $7 extra for different color hoses or not? If not, I will take red, otherwise, I will stick with whatever that I don't have to pay extra on. |

Btw, my email is [email protected] if you didn't get it out of the profile. (That is a zero in 0ut.) And the reason I was asking about whether or not it was completely bolt is that it does not have as many hose fitments as the stock intake. Thanks!

Ok I’m not sure but if u look at the pic u can see where the other hose should be I think it comes with it and he just doesn’t have it on in the pic. He told me it was SS and that the ebay thing was wrong and we will change it. OBX most likely doesn’t have K&N but im not sure.
I hope it comes with instructions I’m sure it must hehe but if it doesn’t I will make a faq with pics and post it, I’m sure most of us could fig. it out Ok did I miss anything that was a lot of Q:s Ohh and yea it is 7 $ for the diff. hose colors |
