Dates Feb 27th, March 27th, April 30th, May 29th (tentative), July 24th, Aug 28th, Sept 25th.

Schedule of Events:
8am Gates open
9am Tech
10am-4pm Track is hot
5pm Gates Closed

Registration Fees:
Drivers- $80
Spectator/ Crew $10 (no ride a longs)
Vendors -$300 or product support
Car Show $TBA

Additional Festivities:
Music, DJ's, Giveaways, Competitions
Model and Talent Search
Special Guest Apperances

It will be on the inner oval, possibly have two tracks. Cages are not required, but still recommended. Basic Tech guidelines must be followed. Should be setting the layout soon, stay tuned!!

TECH!!
-Battery properly secured and positive terminal covered
-Engine compartment free of loose items (air filter, hoses, wires, etc)
-No fluid leaks or exposed wires
-Brake lights function properly (at least two red functioning brake lights)
-Seat properly mounted and secure
-Seatbelts properly mounted and secure
-Brake pads and rotors in good condition (min 40% thickness)
-Tires are road-worthy and safe (min 3/32 tread depth, no sidewall damage)
-Wheels and wheel bearings are tight and road worthy
-Windshield is free of cracks which might obstruct the driver's vision
-Helmet is SNELL certified M95 or SA95 or newer and free of damage
-No loose items in passenger compartment or trunk
-Roll bar in open cars is required

I hope you can all support this the way you all have done so for the thursday night drift. As our way to give back we want to continue to offer what GRASSROOT DRIVERS WANT!

As of right now, it will be 2 events in the parking lot and one in the oval.

I'm in! I could make this a lot more often that going to Riverside. This is a good halfway point for everybody I think 40 minutes from Riverside, 20 from my house and I guess and say about 25 from OC.

i have to agree...i dont know how you pulled this one off Riley, but im glad you did... It's been a long time since the Irwindale parking lot was open for drifting.

but i guess with a face like that, no one can say no to you

$10 for entry includes parking( same pricing as any irwindale event.

yes, but you will have to attend one of the parking lot events to run the FD course, otherwise you can run just the infield inside, we dont want anyone crashing or damaging your car if you arent ready for it.

Sucks I used to live down the street from Irwindale Speedway and then grassroot drifting stopped there for a while.

Fuck the whole reason I moved there was to be close to I.S.

this is was a HUGE team effot from irwindale and troy, im a small fish in the pond. just keep supporting it the way you have all supported our thursday night program!
