The only thing I find kind of humorous about this style is how so much money is spent on crazy cup holders, tables, TV's, and random things for the passengers, it's like building a car for someone else instead of for yourself, and many of these vehicles never see a passenger anyway, haha. If the owners enjoy chaperoning people around in their car, I guess that's a different story. Oh well, it still looks really nice.

I guess it's about the lifestyle as well, if you can spend the money on all the extra unnecessary goodness without blinking or looking back or ever missing that money, then I guess this is for you, this is a car style that truly separates the people who can afford it and the people who can't, which is a good way of weeding out the posers, haha.

IMO 2 things:

1. The Herb Real (iirc) cars are my favorite examples of the VIP style (or VIP for real, whatever) type. SMOOOTH, great paint, excellent condition, etc etc (and with power to boot I'd assume). I don't think it much matters what car for VIP style, as long as it's pulled off to that degree.

2. There's not much cooler than a tastefully dropped, big wheeled luxery car. Mmm Mmm.

Now for one question: (not hating, just curious)

-How on EARTH are these things even remotely daily driven? Is it a Southern California/Florida deal only? Those cars wouldn't last a DAY anywhere in the Northeast...our roads rip apart stock aero/bodied cars, and bend OEM 17's at times... let alone kitted ground scraping cars with 20's.

Again, I think the cars look neat, but only when pulled off to a level of the Herb Real or those 3 or 4 cars that were featured in JTuned a while back...

herbs s13.5 had a stock singlecam when he sold it iirc (did it sell?) idk bout the coupe there butneaways ya, these cars are like driven highway to work or just on weekends. after all that money on rims and body, would you drive it down some shoddy looking road or find a alt route. hehe cmon now

it's not a 240 but like many cars in this thread, it's still a nissan. I wouldn't really call my car VIP but it does have a certain vip style to it, I just wish i didn't have to wait for my new wheels.

Daily Drive in CA/FL/Japan isn't the same as Daily Driving in the Northeast (as I say again). I just wonder if there are any members who crash/bump/threash through the PA/NJ/NY/ area with these kinda cars.....heck even our Toll Roads look like downtown Beirut

edit: that has to be one of the worst front-ends i've ever seen for a 350Z. I really dont understand WHY so many people FUCK UP the looks of the 350Z, when stock.. its next to near perfect. This happens ALL the fucking time with:
- FD RX-7
- NB Miata
- NSX
- 350Z

who wouldnt want to drive a car that you put together and enjoy it? I drove the 240 almost everyday to work,go out, run errands etc etc (From Jun-i sold it).I love the car since i got plenty of people asking me what kinda car it was until i told them it was a 240, heck i got 2 older infiniti enthusiats that complimented me on how it was european looking since the supermade shape was "Euro"ished design to them. Henry's coupe is the one to see. It has the "hugging stance" one the road when its rolling on the freeway. BTW, he's got best of both worlds (aero and performance).

The reason why i didnt want to spend on engine/work is because i had priorities to take care of, fuel costs, long time downtime if i went through the vq swap, budget wouldnt match my asking price since i was gonna ask way too much if i did, etc etc and now that they were all set in, Then I bought a Q that thinking of keeping it in a while but a family member was in need of financial help so the 4 door has to go.

Really, i imagined building a different schemed 240 because it was to my liking. I was here to share it to you all and this is driven (bay area roads are pretty harsh) but not on track. ill keep you guys updated when its all finished with a 2jz swap in a couple of months from the new owner.

Thank you guys for appriciating the car, i do miss it specially with the supermade exhaust that i installed a week after it was purchased. crazy exhaust i must say.

I fail to see anything VIP related on that Z. Whats the point of having a big as opening on the bumper with nothing behind it that actually needs the extra air...is there a front mount in there thats painted black or something? Shiet looks like a FISH...
