HardParked "Just For Looks" x SFL Autosports LS1 S14

Posted under the shop name, Im too lazy to change.

Anyway, Im Luis (i shoot WIN) and I've been a part of the community for a couple years, I started my 240 hype when I was 17, sold my little accord daily and purchased an S13 SOHC with a sil front, an origin kit and a welded diff and no a/c for $3500 lol.

Did a couple events and had a blast but was forced to sell the car as I had lost my job and pretty much went MIA for a couple years bought a couple other 240s but nothing worth mentioning as they were all flips.

Fast forward a couple years, Im 24 now, priorities were more or less in order (lol) and I traded a little s13 I had for this ebay built turd, but atleast it had a/c and THE CLEANEST black dash I ever saw in a zenki LOL.. The S13 didnt  . The previous owner pulled the rear fenders with a baseball bat and didnt like it, so he hammered them back down. It looked like a fkn liger chewed up the qtrs. I wasnt worried, I was planning on running overs anyway.

After I got the car, I instantly flipped the front mount on the shitty d2 coils and it made the car look a whole lot better.

Then....

The unexpected happened, on my way to have the car sprayed and all the bodywork done..... A lady texting on her phone driving a fkn wrangler smashed into the rear qtr of my car at a stop sign. The car wasn't registered or insured as it was a project and I had no trailer or nothing to transport the car. I took the risk of driving it and it backfired miserably.

I was devastated, the car was a total loss... It couldve been fixed but with extensive amounts of labor hours and fabrication which I dont know much of and honestly, didnt want to get into. I didn't let it bring me down though. I had some money saved that I was going to put into the Zenki. I smoked a few blunts, drank a few beers and hopped on craigslist. I found a CLEAN title 1998 240sx shell. It was completely stripped, no gas tank, no brake master, no fuel lines, no brake lines, nothing. IT WAS PERFECT but it wasn't what I was looking for I don't like koukis but for the money, I wasn't complaining. I still decided to jump on it for $900 picked up in Orlando. I made a few calls that night and my buddy agreed on taking me in his moms hummer H2 and I rented a U-Haul trailer and got a qtr of some fire. and the next morning we made the 48

We made the 4hr drive, the car was exactly as they described. Body had 1 ding and it was in EXCELLENT condition.

Loaded her up

Got home and instantly got to work. I stripped the entire zenki.

I lost the pictures on my old phone but, I started swapping parts out to get something done on the car as parts arrived.

I stripped the rear subframe, bought PBM Subframe risers, CS Solid diff bushings, a full bushing set which I didnt up not using lol. Painted the subframe, added all the parts and things were starting to look up.

Starting sourcing out my front end parts, bought JDM Kouki tail lights, a grill, used fenders from some guy on CL. A factory hood was purchased from a member on Zilvia.

Bought PBM FLCA and Tension rods from Living4Surf on here, and some Chargespeed Overs from Frizzle over on Zilvia as well.

One of my favorite pieces were definitely my blue glass Ganadors. Bought some weak weds from YAJ and widened them. 18x9.5 -/+ 0 and 18x13 -10, 225/35 and 285/30's. I then swapped the stock KA with everything onto the kouki with Abe's help.

Went to my buddies shop, this time with a friend following me instead. lol

After 6 months of collecting parts, adding and removing parts. I finally thought the car was ready to be a single color. I pulled my front fenders, I sanded down the entire car and my boy shot the white primer.

Finally the car was dry, Had to throw up the brew for this one. I felt great and the car looked awesome to me. I had plans of shaving the entire top of the bumper, The (turn signals, license plate and sidemarkers) but the was to be done in the future.

Went to the Casino Drift event up in North Broward with a couple friends.

Now this to me, was the funniest part. The car was driven all over Miami and Broward, yet the moment the fanboys heard/saw the car was trailered to Daytona Beach (Simply Clean 4) They all got butt hurt and someone literally told me "Car looks bad ass man, I heard it was brought on a trailer though" At this point im like, what difference does it fucking make? LOL. Laughed at him and walked away.

Drove all around Daytona, people loved it LOL.

Some Hi-Res shots Nelson took , Loved these fkn pictures.

Like I previously mentioned, I was never 100% content with the car. No matter what I did to it.

So I traded it the kouki, on stock suspension for a mint zenki and I got to work.

Sold the D2's, Bought Fortune Auto's with the SDL specs and 12k/10k spring rates. Pulled the rear qtrs and slapped the Weds on it.

Drove the car for about a week and I bought an SR with a spun bearing with plans of building it to hold 350~400whp .. I contemplated the build and decided an SR wasnt going to be enough... Sold it and Purchased this.

2000, 103k miles, 5.7L with a T-56 for $2500 from an older guy in the Keys.

Completely stripped the engine bay, Going to shave it, tub it, and re-do the chassis harness as well..

Already purchased my Fueled Racing kit which will help EXTENSIVELY and all the hard work is done.

As for the LS1 for now, Im just going to change the w/pump, oil pump, and any gaskets that may need replacing since money is a bit tight and I cant beat the urge to drive already.

Sold I sold the Weds to a Zilvia member and Purchased Work Euroline SLs, 18x10 -25 5", 18x12 -38 6.25" lips. I also have a Dmax III Replica kit, I plan on breaking pretty soon. Going to be running 215/40 or 225/35s and 265/35 Nankangs.
