Whats up guys and girls. I'm going on vacation in a few weeks, and I have it narrowed down to panama city beach Florida, or Myrtle beach South carolina. Im on the east coast and prefer to go somewhere close because I dont have a bucket full of money. What I want to know is, which place would you pick, panama or Myrtle beach, and Why? Im having a hell of a time deciding, and figured since everyone on Zilvia knows there shit they can steer me in the right direction.

Panama City simply because the beach(ie sand and water) is nicer. Not a fan of all the people nor the kind of people, buy hey, the water is nice.

I'd say Panama. The beaches are much nicer as you go south. I've been to daytona and the water is much better than here. I hate the beach here in virginia. The atlantic is too damn cold! I wanna go back to Oahu! In all my beach experience, i think florida ranks #2, under hawaii.

Clearwater/St Pete beach................women like you have never seen before ! and probably alot CHEAPER...

PLUS we have Ybor City, and Channelside for nightlife

i always go to the outer banks, cape hatteras, but that is a small beach sounds like you like party beaches

Myrtle Beach has gone downhill in the last 4-5 years. The beach is nothing but shells, and the water is brown all the time. Trash everywhere, and cops are mean as hell. I live in NC, so Myrtle used to be a common spot for me, but I usually go to Wrightsville beach just outside of wilmington these days b/c the beach is so much nicer.

I've never been to Panama City, but it sounds like a ton of fun.

Ya, I have too many gray hairs (whats left of them) for Panama City so I go to St.George Island which isn't far from there. It's gorgeous there and it's quiet. Warning tho, there is f*ck-all to do there other than hang out and chill. There's only one hotel on the island so all of the other rentals are houses and some of them are pretty steep ($$) You can go for cheap if you do your homework tho.

just got back from panama city. i was there during the 4th it was a blast go to PC you wont regret it.

Thanks for all the response! Panama City it is! Already booked a condo, some place called The Summit, supposed to be right next to Spinnaker's, so Steeles I'll definately whip out the camera phone on the naked chicks. Got 7 nights for six people for $950, so thats only $160 each. Cant wait to get the hell away from kentucky and be on the beach with a Budweiser in hand!

lol thats right next door to where i stayed. my aunt owns a condo at gulf crest is right next door to the summit.They have a nice ass pool
