Looks nice man. My mom had a Z31 a few years ago. She sold it though. I wanted her to save it so when I finished off my 240 I could buy it from her lol

Haha no updates, I'm starting to think that the chances of me using the garage in the place I'm living at are getting slimmer and slimmer, so we'll see how much longer it has to rot in the parents' driveway

Nice build so far. My dad back in the early 90's owned a 85 candy apple n/a 5speed 2 seater z. Memory that i never forget, was when, a porsche not sure if it was a 911 at the time, pulled up next to us at a red light and revved lol. Dad revved back. We kept up to the top of 2nd gear then we got smoked lol. Awesome subscribed.

Yeah butter/crab spirits is pretty well known in the z31 community. There's a low revolution currently happening now that coilovers are much more available. It's exciting to see some well stanced z31's, they were pretty terrible not 6 months ago. Having this thing in storage is killing me, it was one of the first to roll the serialnine style adapters, now it's completely missing the boat.

Plans for the RB are still on track, by the end of next year it will be on the road. I have another secret project going currently, it will be ready by spring time.

Old 'n' Busted
New hotness: Please ignore the test-fit filter. Decided that replacing the silicon heater hose was a wise investment, especially considering the hose had started to 'sweat' oil out of it. Nasty. This new stuff is rated for 300.f and more pressure than I could ever hope to throw at it, good and abrasion resistant too. |

I can't wait to go the Stance route also. I had to stare real hard to figure out the radiator and intercooler set up. That's alot of room in that nose!

Quick startup vid..
YouTube - 1988 300zxt start up/idle video and the IC pipe in question. Still not going to have full lock turning right, but I drive the daily with less than a full turn either way so it won't be a big deal. |

RJ I took a look for those specs but Colt isn't listing them on their website anymore, i'm assuming I lost the spec sheet long ago too. Maybe I'll be able to find something on 88hybrid.
Parked it outside for the weekend to get a wash and some fresh air. Tonight, got the new toy mostly set up... |

Beautiful.
I'll keep an eye on this. I registered on z31performance myself after scooping up a vg30et an s12 and s13 gearbox. Love these cars and the simple yet awesome motors. Care to elaborate on the cams a bit more? Where abouts to they shift the powerband? Thanks and keep doing what you're doing! Love it!
