95 tranny in 96, OBD problem.
I have a 95 manual transmission in 96 with 96 manual ECU and it is throwing me a CEL light.
I only hooked up speed sensor so I do not know if the light is caused by other stuff or lack of OBD II stuff. Has anyone used OBD I transmission in a OBD II car? Is there anything I can do to trick the computer? 95 ECU maybe? I live in VA and I just need to pass the emission. Thanks. |

Transmission and wiring is identical for all S14s. Plug in the CPS and neutral switches, they're both required to keep the CEL off, has nothing to with OBD-II.

It's part of the lower harness, 3pin plug, pink, blue, and gray IIRC.
