im really a big anime fan, but i gotta say im into asian chicks and i have seen some around tokyo town dressed in cos-play? whatever it is im interestead on headn to one of these. could i have some more info. as to the dates and parking/admission if any. might bring a jap chick i know ^_^

Anime Expo 2010 - July 1-4, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC)

This is the biggest anime convention in southern california.
from july 1-4 (june 30 if you're going for day 0 to pick up your pass)

Right now, the ticket price for a 4 day pass should be $75

Parking is INSANE with pricing if you park near the Convention Center. You're better off rooming in a hotel, especially since they have attendee premium pricing for the closer hotels.

This one is also the most expensive of conventions in So Cal. Be prepared to bring $500 MINIMUM for all the crap that you're going to buy lol. When I went to my first con back in '04, I only took $60. BIG MISTAKE LOL.

It's cheaper than buying stuff for our cars too. Think of it this way: if you just sell a full set of Volk TE37 wheels, you'd have enough to pay for admission for all four days, a hotel room, and enough cash to splurge on shit you don't need lol. Hell, you could even eat there at the cafe (because they charge up the ass also lol).

last year i went the parking structure of the LACC was like 10 buck and the convention was right there
and there was alot of pretty girls in skimpy little outfits to offset the amount of ugly/fat chicks that were there
my brother and i made the mistake last year of forgetting to bring a camera

It would be an awesome build though. Like, I would buy a shell, switch/weld the RHD firewall to it, then fix up the interior a bit, drop in a CA18DET, paint that sucker, then reluctantly put on the AKINA SPEEDSTARS sticker on it. IMO cool build, but too much fanboyism lol.

And I'd have to buy an old school NISMO collared tee also lol.

I decided to just get a ride to get dropped off and get picked up on the last day of AX. The parking there was like $30-$40 on this one place for overnight. And even if you park at the hotel you go into, they charge you for overnight parking. And I heard they used to not do that when you room with the hotel...
