Can I use my California Medi-Cal in Texas?
Can I use my California Medi-Cal in Texas? Ive tried searching google, but all that comes up is about medical weed.
Im in texas and I want to know if I can use it here. Thanks...

Medi-Cal: Out-of-State Providers FAQs

Assuming that it's state paid insurance... Typically, you will not be able to use it out of state. And this is typically by decision of the practice (doctor), not the provider (insurance company), assuming that the provider lets you use it out of state.
I've dealt with these issues too often, unfortunately.
