Only the basic version is free. We happened to get Pro from a warez site--but it was 2 years ago and the site's no longer alive. If I find where to get Pro, I'll let ya all know. Even the free version kicks ass--no more going to different websites to use their search functions--this program uses them all at once.

The new version is Copernic 2003, I believe.

Google is really good... but I'm surprised no one's mentioned Alta-Vista. They've been around since waaay before google, and also scan a broader range of sites than most other engines.

unfortunately, their engine is nowhere near as efficient as googles, meaning that you get a lot of sites that you don't really want to see. A friend of mine used Altavista for a long time and any time I searched on it it took me till the 3rd page to find what I was looking for. With google it's usually by the third link.

Yup Google is the best one I think. The Google Toolbar makes it even easier!
