s14 thermo contorol amp location

hi, i was wondering if any of you guys could tell me and/or show me in a picture where the thermo control amp is on an s14? I'm doing an AC troubleshoot on a 1996 240sx and cannot seem to find where it is located. thanks for any help!

Remove the glovebox. Look straight ahead. Bam. Black box with a 3pin plug mounted to the front of the evaporator case. It's slim, looks like a Zippo lighter maybe in size. It then has a 2wire lead running through the case to a thermistor pressed into the core.

Note that 97-98 models don't have one, only 95-96s.

Courtesy shows it to be NLA, but anyone parting an S14 will have one. I used to have two dozen of them because I stripped the cases down to salvage the aluminum cores, I finally threw them all away last year though.

damn, oh well. i just got off the phone with south point nissan in austin and they said they can still get them, so i'll just have to buy a new one from them
