FS: 98' Kouki w/ v8 swap
1998 Nissan 240sx Kouki $8000 with no wheels or $9000 with. CLEAN title in hand
*Car is babied. I literally drive it about 2-3 days a week and thats at a max of 45 mph and about 3k RPMS. Since car is out of state, this is what you need. smog and vin verification. Smog, no big deal, everyone had a guy. Vin verification can be done at AAA, DMV, or CHP. Now don't be dumb and go to CHP. I've done many of these at both AAA and DMV. Those people already have no clue. They take the title run the vin to make sure it's not stolen. Then double check the vin on the door and vin under the hood matches title. Boom, done that easy. That is the only extra step in buying an out of state car for you Cali guys. Engine: 1994 (s2) VH45DE w/ 120kish. (metal timing chains) Rebuilt injectors by deatschwerks Custom 1.75" stainless long tube headers into Y pipe 3" Straight pipe with no cats or mufflers (exhaust is leaking from flex pipes bottoming out on things) Fuel: 255 Walbro Exterior: Less than 2yr old paint job. Color is whitest white from the LFA (minor chips from being a daily) USDM Lip (minor scrapes underneath from driveway) Interior: Stock with an UNCRACKED dash. Carpet is okayish. Trunk is stripped (no carpet or plastics) Speedo and tachometer read double (could use a Dakota converter, but i never cared). Cooling: Aluminum radiator with e-fans Suspension/Drivetrain Tein coils up front/Cusco in the rear 1 piece steel drive shaft Short shifter w/ bronze bushings Z32 NA Transmission KAAZ 2 way diff Less than 1k on ACT 6puck clutch/pressure plate (525ft.lbs) Fidnanza Lightweight flywheel OEM throw out bearing/sleeve OEM pilot bushing New pivot ball Aftermarket Cast clutch fork and new dust boot Wheels Wedsport SA-70's powder coated candy blue (all have minor rash) 18x9+20 (+15 with 5mm spacer) 18x10+18 (+13 with 5mm spacer) There are very minor issues, car has a slight misfire....I ran the diagnostic on the Ecu again and it is throwing a code for knock sensor. I assume one could be starting to fail. This is a cheap fix, just a tad time consuming. ..Doesnt effect drivability and other than that, it runs great, is a blast and sounds mean as hell. The car is registered in Ohio, i am active duty military. I will NOT smog the car before sale. Please contact me for any questions. Thanks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuHUOz6772Q Last edited by S14_drift junkE; 05-02-2016 at 10:10 PM.. Reason: price |

^^me too. maybe I'm crazy for thinking a pretty clear REAL 98 kouki is worth any real money. i thought it was somewhat of a realistic price, considering how much people are asking for worse condition horribly modified/stock ones. I'm taking a huge loss on this for the price its at, but thats part of the hobby and i understand that. Real kouki, good paint, good dash, good swap, real wheels and suspension...

Hate to even make this post but if you part out keep me in mind. I am trying to avoid a swap for a while but if you part out it might motivate me to get off my ass.
This car is worth every penny from what I can see....if I were local I would be very tempted. GL with sale sir. |

I'm looking at a car for same price tomorrow (though totally different automotive realm). I'm pretty interested in this and have cash, I was going to PM but with the post above I wasn't sure if that would work, want to PM me your number and we can chat? I'm in AZ so biggest deal for me is getting it home, but could always trailer it if driving back an issue.
