i cant say anything about that model, but if its coming from alpine even the cheap ones are decent, ive had alot of alpines (higher end models) and have had no complaints, i currently have the cda 7995, i really like it, i think i seen them on ebay for like 350 plus shipping, its a sound investment, and u get to listen to mp3s and you can use cdrws....thats all the help i can give u, clarions higher end stuff is also good, cant speak for any other companys...

I finally got it in along with the 4 Infinity Reference and got it all installed. It sounds SOOOOOOOO nice. These speakers are more bassy then I would expect from 6 1/2. I really don't expect full range speakers to have that much uumph in the low end, but these are nice. They make the car rattle The Alpine helps the sound quality a LOT also. I hooked a road gear CD player up just to see what it would sound like...not even close. The adjustability on the Alpine is nice too. I makes it easy to sound the best in your car.
