Is anyone near Osan AB? Got orders there and I'll be there in August. Hoping to meet people to talk cars and get the hook up with local hang out and grub spots. LMK

Bro there isn't a huge car scene in Korea, the tuner they have there is the genesis coupe.......

I haven't heard anything about drag racing around here. Maybe because I don't speak Korean or know any locals. I need someone that lives here to meet up with me somewhere

I just came from Osan, unless you're an E6+ or an officer you can't have a car which sucks, there's not much of a scene there, BUT.... If you want to show up all the enlisted people, get a 49cc engine and mount it to a bike and you'll be one of the only people over there with a vehicle.

Hey Russ Im stationed at Osan too. I'm with you on that one, it all gets repetitive and if you love cars its a really shitty tour. Nothing to play with and nothing interesting to see carwise. Seems like the scene here is dead.

You're not gonna find a whole lot of S15 parts outside of Japan and Australia.

I will be visiting South Korea for two weeks just about with my fiance, what are must do things and where can I catch a glimpse of the local korean car scene especially drifting and the street car culture.

You can check out Inje Spedium (Drift Master / Playground), Ajou Highschool "car park" (MaxPower / Korean Drift Festival).
There are some events at the Ansan Circuit parking, and sometimes you can see some drift at the F1 track (Dspec drift team).
