Check engine (0100 codes mass air flow sensor and 0325 knock sensor)

This is stock KA. Only mod injen intake. Check engine light came on a day after the engine started cutting out. So these two codes came up. I don't know why it would have thrown two of them since I don't think knock sensor really causes these types of symptoms. Anyway car has been in the shop for 3 weeks now and he is not sure what it is. Both sensors checked out ok. He thinks its in the wiring somewhere for the MAF. He said he thinks its a ground issue but needs to check some more. Any ideas?

Got it back today. It ended up being a ground wire to the maf harness. Hopefully that was also causing my car starting slowly at times.

Issue still not fixed. Started happening again today. He said it was ground wire from maf harness to engine. Re welded it but same problem. Not quite as consistent as it was. Check engine light hasn't come on yet. I assume it will soon though.

id say check the plug on the MAF, are the wires exposed?
