how much do u guys think this is gonna cost to fix? how much work is it? is it safe to drive it like this or is it a bad fire hazard?

its about $100-$125 for a new one, about $50.00 for a rebuilt one, and it shouldn't cost that much to install them.

so $250-$350 should do it.
