SR20DET swap done, car isnt holding idle and dies
ok jus finished my swap yesterday. it starts but i have to hold the gas or else it will die. my first guess is a vaccum leak and when reving it sounds like its poping or misfiring. my friends say that my timing is off..im running really rich by the way with no o2 sensor..there is a lot of smoke!. i cant figure it out since i cant really find any vaccum leaks nor do i have a timing gun..ne suggestions?

suggestions
put in an o2 sensor get a timing gun check for vac leaks and lastly sell your car

ok we took the valve cover off and adjusted the timing. it idles very low and i cant really get past 3000rpm. i have a skyline gt-r fuel pump and my friends guess is that im giving way too much fuel its flooding and making the spark misfire. i need to get an o2 sensor to tell it to stop giving so much fuel. sounds like an answer to the problem right? any other suggestions?

if it's stock injectors, fpr and ecu, it shouldn't be getting anymore fuel than stock. so i don't really think that's it. can you rev at all past 3000rpms? if not then it's the MAFS or still the CAS (cam angle sensor) on the side of the block needs adjustment.
