will Nistune for KA work on an sr?

Here is my question, which I've tried searching on here, google, other forums, nistune site, ect. Couldn't find an answer anywhere. A local kid wrecked his 240 and is selling parts off of it. He has Nistune type 3 board installed into a KA ecu and it was running an S13 KA24DE. My question is will this work for my SR? I have a blacktop S13 SR20DET (180sx). Now I know the type 3 board is also meant for the motor I have, but because it's installed on a KA ecu will it work?

I'm tempted to just try the ecu on my car however I don't want it to cause any issues if it doesn't work so that's why I'm asking about this rather then just giving it a try.

Yeah no go on it if you're thinking it's just plug and play.

Thanks for the help guys. Now that I think of it, I'm dumb. Could have just looked up the pin outs for the two and saw that they were different.

You need to have a new base image flashed onto the board by a nistune dealer for the part number of the sr ecu your putting the board in.
