SR s13 sr20det starting issue

i have a 1990 silvia with a s13 sr20det, and im having a issue where the car starts, and does the normal start up and then dies after about 2-3 seconds. It started with the revs bouncing between 500-1000 and it started up and ran fine after, then it died while putting it away in storage, but now does the normal start up and dies. I checked for vacuum leaks and replaced iacv. Im thinking tps now, but has anyone else had this issue or know a solution to it?
