Hey, I am wiring in a honda S2000 starter button, and I need to make sure that I have the wiring right.. I have a 1992 Fastback SE, and I am using the instructions from a Miata site ( http://www.miata.net/garage/pushstart/ ) and I've gotten everything done except splicing into my ignition, since Nissans are obviously different than Mazdas... I have called a few places and gotten some info but I need to be SURE before I go cutting up my ignition wires...
Anyway, here are the 5 wires that I have coming from my ignition and what I think they are.... Black-White stripe: Starter Black-Green stripe: <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>??? Black-Yellow stripe: Ignition?? Blue (Solid): Accessories White-Red Stripe: Constant power If you read the miata page you will be able to see what I am looking for (It said I needed to splice into the ST and IG2 wires) I am also confused since the guys who told me what most of those are had Black with a RED stripe listed for ignition, which I *dont* have... Can anyone PLEASE help me figure this out?? I really want to get my button wired up! If you wanna see pics of my car, including the S2000 button install, go to http://www.wickednet.org/forums....p>Gimme some opinions on it too if you want! Thanks in advance for any help!! |

all 240sx will have 2 starter wires, 1 to crank the starter, the other is a cold start wire. if you don't power up this wire during crank your car will not start in the morning. why don't you email me the wire diagram of the switch the I will tell what wire goes where.
