Registration won't be hassle if he can get the smog. It's the seller's responsibility to get the smog prior to selling the car. The smog certificate lasts about 30 or 60 days (could be changed), within that time you'll be able to use it and register your vehicle. At the DMV, they might check for matching vin number on the dash and motor... or might be applicable to cars brought out of state. Not 100% sure, but look it up.

"What Im getting at is people as your self are manking very hard for other people too enjoy their car. meanning doing stupid crap." How am I "manking very hard for other people too enjoy their car. meanning doing stupid crap"? It was a simple question really, would a s13 with a blacktop SR be worth 5k |

the question is, do YOU feel it is worth spending $5600 on it. Afterall, your going to be the one driving it, and paying for it, and possibly fixing it, and on and on and on. Know every detail about the car before you decide. Drive it, check the oil, check the water. How many miles. Whats wrong. What has been reciently fixed? Hows the paint? What wheels are on it? what mods does it have? Just keep adding things up, and see if you are still interested.
