I have a 89 240 and the car had a single cam ka and now it has a dual overhead cam ka with the single cam ka tranny. Now I am having starter problems some times it will start and sometimes it won't but it's getting power can someone help?

Could be a bad starter. Go buy a ka-e starter, will bolt right up there.

Ill meter it all and check out the ignition also

Well you said that the starter gets power, so i think the ignition is fine.

This also is occurring to my 93 dualcam something is happening between ignition and the signal cable to the starter its driving me nuts -.- starter works ignition works i tried swittching out the really and still nothing. Sometimes it starts right up and once in a while it wont,

Well I just bought it today, so I'm going to diagnose everything before buying anything. Just wanted to know if someone knew where to look first.
