Brake upgrade?

hey guys i was wondering if u guys know what i have to do and what parts i need for the s13 e brake cable set up? i think i should start there because my e brake is REALLYYYY heavy to pull, so im thinkin thats the issue. i've read that if ur getting the z32 calipers might as well change out the e brake cables too
please anyone? suggestions, ideas, etc.????

The S13 e-brake cable connects to the rear brake calipers. See if there's anything resisting the cables or even the caliper itself.

Truthfully, a lot of old S13 ebrake cables are always loose and idk, it doesn't sound like a problem to me if it's heavy to pull. But seeing as it's "REALLYYYY" heavy to pull, I'd rule everything out before upgrading to Z32 brakes.

Also, read up and do more research on what goes into Z32 brakes because from your post, it doesn't seem like you know that much about how that setup works.

Sure, start with the nut that holds the cable to the e-brake handle and if that isn't tightened, check underneath the car. See if something is making the cable resist, nothing? Take off the rear wheels and inspect your brake calipers. Not seized? Idk, deal with it and gain a huge right arm from pulling.

S13 e brake cable won't work with z32 calipers. I use r33 brake cables to mine. Bolts up! Youll need to figure out the cable hangers though. I cut/bent mine. Was pretty straight forward from underneath the car. Easy swap. I would use a z32 master or your pedal will feel like a sponge. 1 1/16 is good.

You may want to chime in what car you have since your post will confuse the OP. Anyhow, R33 will NOT work on a S13 since they will be TOO LONG, you probably have a S14 which the R33 cables fit perfectly.
