Whewwwwww... there is a limited amount of threads that truly wow me but this is one of them. Very interesting to see how the car started, and your original disposition on the car, then transition. Looks like the peeps you met really influenced you for the better!
All the choice of mods go together so well. Navan, paint, xt7 combo is amazing. Thanks for continuing to keep street style alive with this car. |

Just got back from Albuquerque New Mexico! We hit up No Coast Bash and watched he formula d pro am dudes throw down! It was a great weekend with the homies! Justin killed it in his s13! Excited to see him paint it and throw a kit on it! He's going to rule the interwebz when he's done! I said it here first! The car handled very well! I had a loose hose by the throttle body that was letting coolant out. on the way back my cars temp rose dramatically! Fixed the lines, put in more water and drive back without any issues! Thanks to drama and justin for the help! I got a lot of thumbs up driving around Albuquerque and at the event! I felt kinda cool! I had 3 girl come up to me and tell me how they wanted to build similar looking s14s lol! It's super awkward being one of maybe three cars that were all one solid color! Enough blah blah blah, here are a few pics of this event. Might have enough footage for a small vid! Drama will handle that task! I NEED A BIGGER TURBO! ANYONR THAT WANTS TO SELL A GT2871R LET ME KNOW!!!

Washed it today! Random bump. So I sold my roof wing and replica Kouki wing recently. Came a cross an OEM Kouki wing that I'll be getting sprayed soon! My OCD was killing me with the replica wing.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Small update! I got a cd009 for a steal locally! I'll be dropping this in soon! Gonna do a little bit more research to see who I'll end up ordering the components from but I know I'll be buying the gktech shifter, No doubt!
Has 40,000 miles off of an 06 g35 with external slave. got 3 months warranty on it so I'm going to try and do this soon!

Recent update. Thought I was making progress on my car and BAM, not this time buster.
So a week a go, I got my gktech fan that I was waiting on. I had recently purchased an OEM shroud and sourced a fan clutched from a good buddy of mine. I went from flex-a-lite fans to clutch because one of the fans seized up. Friend I bought it from had it on his stock KA rad. His radiator blew up and leaked water on to the E-fan motor. It rusted up so bad, it stopped spinning. Gktech fan pulls 40% more than stock fan and the fan shroud makes a better seal than any e-fan shroud would seal. I replaced the water pump and installed the clutch and fan. Installed the shroud I filled the rad with distilled water and "royal purple purple ice" So when I was bleeding out the coolant, I noticed bubbles kept coming out (after 30 minutes of bleeding). I figured it was a leak in a hose by the intake, so thought to myself I would search for it and replace the hose. Drove the car around and okachan 'sensor type' marked 69 C the whole time. Highest it went up to was 72 C! So I thought I was golden and ready for the drift event at ASR in Deming NM. Yesterday I drove around and water temp started creeping up to 90-110 C so I parked the car immediately. Started it this morning and POOOOOOF. Big ass white cloud of smoke. I pulled the dipstick out and cleaned some of the oil off to find this... So I drained the oil and yeah, chocolate milk... So I pulled off the valve cover and cams. I was going to check the torque on the ARP head studs, but then got persuaded to just change out the head gasket. Might as well, everything else is already off. Pulled the turbo off So I called it quits here for the night. Gotta be up in 5 hours for a 12 hour shift in the emergency room. I'll post more when I wrench more. So much for my apex head gasket. Thought they were up there.

Small update. This year has been one for the books! At the beguining of the year I started working out again (lost 40 lbs), a long term relationship came to an end (almost 9 years), broke the engine on my car, met my new girlfriend and currently having a blast, and most importantly started school to finish up Paramedicine!
So around Valentine's Day, I attended a drift event in Deming New Mexico. Car started running weird and water temps started creeping up. I stopped driving it on the track and packed up for home. Turned out I blew the head gasket AGAIN. Shocker. So my car was running lean cuisine, causing detonation which pitted the head and block including some of the cylinder walls. It was detonating pretty good. It even broke the ground on the park plugs lmfao! So as most of you know by now, Justin "Night Parade" Rogers parted out his legendary s14. He gave me a sweet deal on his built S15 SR20DET! I'll post all the specs later! It has some pretty cool parts on it! Mazworks and BC I also got my Maverick Motorsports adapter! My GKTech shifter with crossmember I found a SWEET ass deal on GT2871R I lent my best friend Justin "LesFriskyNipples" (frisky nipps CEO) my PSM cobra down pipe so he could finish up his build so he could attend No Coast drift party. He bought a new one and let me keep it! Look how beautiful it is! I found a brand new greddy oil pan from a fellow zilvian out in Japan for cheap! I bought it before I bought Justin Rogers engine, which came with one already, so I sold it to My best friend Justin Labayen. I got a RIDICULOUS hook up with a shaft master CD009 to S14 solid drive shaft! I still need a few parts like the slave and the clutch line to have everything for the install. I wanna tub and paint my engine bay before I install the new engine. Here are some random pics of how the car/parts currently sit in my garage. Lol z33 bell housing/junk mail holder. I know I know, I gotta clock the turbo More random pics of the cluster fuck I made a mess with the Toyota black lololol SOMEONE COME FINISH THIS SHIT FOR ME! Lol! I'll finish it soon, I've been hurting to drive this piece of shit! Thanks for reading, y'all!

Thank all of you for all the kind words! Mad love to all of you <3
U P D A T E! Now that the semester is up, I went straight back to bolting all this shit together. Slow and steady progress. Finished off the head Cleaned up the intake manifold I got a new valve cover! I plan to make my own BOSS coilpack cover but paint it a different color I cleaned up the water neck and CAS I also finished cleaning up and assembling the CD009! I love the way it looks! I went with the Maverick Motorsports adapter and machining, and will be running the GKTech shifter bracket and shaft masters Driveshaft. Before I bolted up the shifter bracket I installed the bracket and snugged it all down. I realized that you have to bolt the shifter on from the bottom first before you bolt it up to the transmission. So I had to uninstall the bracket and reinstall it all together. Shout out to my ex for the skateboard! Using it as a transmission dolly/creeper I'm gonna keep on wrenching tonight. Gonna see how far I get. Still gotta tub and paint the engine bay

read the whole thread a while ago, and noticed that you used the royal purple coolant additive with distillied water. did you also use coolant with that?

I only ask because on the back of the bottle it says "Bottled, filtered drinking waters recommended. Distilled water not recommended , unless mixed with 50% antifreeze. I'm honestly not tryna sound like I know more lol. I just sell that at my job and remember reading about it.
